Kia Rio Reborn

One loyal Kia customer in Adelaide has exclusively purchased cars from the brand for the past decade due to their quality.

Derek Brookes, who was identified earlier this month as the first person in Australia to purchase the all-new Kia Rio, has previously owned two Kia Cerato cars and two Kia Rio cars.

He upgrades his Kia car approximately once every two years, according to the brand.

Brookes remarked: "After my years of purchasing motor vehicles, I have now bought my fifth Kia - because when you're on a good thing, you stay with it."

His new black Kia Rio has an automatic transmission and 16-inch alloy wheels, with six airbags, vehicle stability management and hill-start assist as standard.

The new Kia Rio is available in a selection of three-door, four-door or five-door body styles and the Kia Rio S has Bluetooth and audio controls mounted on the steering wheel for additional convenience.

Kia currently holds a 2.6 per cent share of Australia's new car sales, according to the most recent figures from VFACTS.

The continued growth in the popularity of the Kia Cerato played a significant role in these figures, Kia asserts, with an 82 per cent year-to-date growth rate.
