Kia cars big enough for the whole family

Kia cars

Travelling with the family during the school holiday period can be a challenge at the best of times, let alone trying to cram Mum, Dad the kids and all of their luggage into a car that is far too small for their needs.

Parents can expect to do a lot of driving around this Christmas, regardless of how many children they have.

Whether it's hitting the road for a week-long camping trip, heading to the beach for a day or just dropping the kids off at a friend's house for the afternoon, Kia has the right car for busy families.

The Korean car manufacturer has a range of family cars available, including the eight-seater Kia Grand Carnival, which boasts a powerful 3.5 litre petrol or 2.2 litre diesel engine.

Two seven-seater models - the Kia Rondo and Kia Sorento - offer both a practical interior and a stylish exterior without feeling like you're driving a minivan.

Kia has kept the family in mind, providing its family cars with an ample number of airbags, child safety anchor points, child proof rear door locks and a range of additional safety features such as ESC stability control and traction control.

And as an added advantage, the Kia Sorento also has a 5-star ANCAP safety rating.
